Paper Birds at The Rag Factory

Its not often you get asked to play a fundraiser entirely promoted by hand drawn posters and origami birds. That’s a fact. These fund raising ladies are dedicated people, they’ve spent weeks making hundreds of these paper birds and are distributing them around the London Underground as we speak, hoping to draw social activists and music lovers to aid them in their charitable endeavors.

Siroun and her buddies from Bethnal Green in London are trying to raise some thousands of pounds to put a girl through secondary school in Atorkor, Ghana (West Africa). And as far as we’ve been told thats not happening there all too often.
This show is unofficially associated with the Atorkor Development Foundation (ADF) and all the juicy profits will be put to good use according to their mandate and good guidance.
So if you have a hankering for some live music and a passion for educating third world children, we’ll see you at The Rag Factory on March 30th for an altruistic hoe down of some magnificence.
